From recipe caption to grocery list

Paste the text of a saved recipe. The list comes out sorted by grocery aisle, with quantities, ready to copy.

It can be the whole caption: title, emojis, hashtags and method get left out.

Runs in your browser. The text you paste doesn't leave this page.

save the recipe, and it comes back to you

In Pulogo, a recipe saved from the share sheet goes into your daily triage. Do sends it to your To do list. Keep brings it back in a few days, when you might be more in the mood to cook.

Pulogo doesn't make grocery lists. That only exists on this page.

The recipe in the Reel comes with everything mixed together: grandma's backstory, the emojis, the ingredients, the method and ten hashtags. At the store, you just want the list.

This tool takes the text you paste, finds the ingredients and sorts them by aisle. It all happens in your browser: the text isn't sent anywhere.

How to use it

Open the saved recipe on Instagram or TikTok, copy the caption and paste it into the field. You can paste the whole thing: title, emojis, hashtags and method get left out.

Check off what you already have at home. The Copy list button takes only what you still need to buy, with aisles and quantities, ready to paste into your notes or send on WhatsApp.

How the list is built

Each line is read looking for a quantity (2 cups, 1 can, 200 g) and a known ingredient. The ingredient decides the aisle: carrots go to produce, chicken breast to meat, heavy cream to dairy, flour to pantry.

The reading uses a list of known words, with no outside service. When the tool doesn't recognize an item, it goes under Other, and you decide.

When the text isn't a list

Some recipes put the ingredients in a single sentence, separated by commas. The tool splits on the commas and keeps numbers like 1.5 kg whole.

If the list comes out weird, paste just the ingredients part, one per line. That usually fixes it.

From save to plate

The list takes care of the store. What usually fails before that is remembering the recipe: it sits in your saves, under a hundred others, until the day you don't even think about it anymore.

That's the part Pulogo does. The grocery list, it doesn't: that only exists on this page.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pulogo make grocery lists?

No. This tool lives only on this page. The app keeps the recipe you saved and brings it back to you in triage, so it turns into something done.

Is the text I paste sent anywhere?

No. The reading happens in your browser. Nothing is sent or stored, and the text is gone when you close the tab.

Does it work with recipes in other languages?

Sorting by aisle was built for Portuguese, with some English and Spanish. In other languages, the list comes out with quantities, and unrecognized items go under Other.

Why did an ingredient land in the wrong aisle?

The tool decides by the main word of the item. For cases like coconut milk or black pepper it already knows the right answer, but it can get others wrong. It's your list, so just ignore the aisle.

Can I save the list?

Tap Copy list and paste it wherever you like: notes, reminders or a chat. The page doesn't store anything.
