Why "watch later" turns into never
The Watch Later playlist only grows. The forty-minute video on personal finance has been there since last year, between a guitar tutorial and a talk someone recommended.
It's not that you don't want to. It's that nobody asks: is this one for this week or not?
What changes when the video goes to Pulogo
Pulogo builds the link preview, gives it a title and a category and shows which step it's on. Lectures and explainers tend to land in study; if the category is wrong, one tap fixes it.
In the day's triage, the video shows up among a few others. Do sends it to your To do list, Keep brings it back in a few days, Let go archives it in Let go.
Step by step
- 1
Open the video
In the YouTube app, open the video you want to watch later.
- 2
Tap Share
The button is under the title. In YouTube's panel, tap More (or the system share icon) to open the iPhone share sheet.
- 3
Choose Pulogo
Tap Pulogo in the row of apps. If it's not there, tap More and turn Pulogo on once.
- 4
Done
"Saved to Pulogo" appears and you're back on YouTube.
What happens next
The video lands in the Library with a title and a category and shows up in your next triage.
If it's for this week, Do. When you watch it, Done. The recap counts it.
Tips
Copying the link works too
In YouTube's panel, tap Copy link and paste it into Pulogo's field for pasting a link or screenshot.
Screenshot the slide
If what matters is a frame from the video, take a screenshot. The text is read right here on your iPhone and search finds it later.
Pulogo doesn't transcribe
It keeps the link and the preview. The video's content stays on YouTube.
